I finally get a great iPhone app idea…

…and there’s not a chance I’ll have the amount of time/manpower needed to implement it. Been brainstorming for a while on something that would make unique use of the capabilities of the iPhone to deliver a compelling experience, and think I finally have something, in the form of a game. Only problem is, there’s no way I will have the time to build all the components required. Not to mention, I’ve never programmed on the iPhone, so I’ll have to learn that environment first.

Shame the iFund looks like it requires you to be a business guy to get your foot in the door.

Here are some nice Cocoa/Obj-C tutorials:

Do you own a Mac? Would Cary die if you did?

Yeah, I have a Mac. Been using ‘em since around… 2001, 2002, or so? I dunno, when the OS X Public Beta released. I have the O’Reilly Cocoa book, too. Just haven’t gotten into actually working through it. Skimmed the first several chapters and it didn’t seem that hard.

I still say you should do it.
