Killer app for Pocket PC Phone Edition
I’m at Books-a-million for their stupendous 1 day sale, and I stumbled across what may be a great programming book, “Jamsa’s C/C++/C# Programmer’s Bible.” This thing is thick. I mean, like 1000+ pages thick. But is it any good, and is $59.99 a reasonable price?
A few weeks ago, I’d have no way of knowing without going home and coming back later. In fact, I had almost resolved to do just that when I remembered my i700 at my hip.
So, I fired up Pocket IE and found this page at Amazon.com, and find out that not only is the book chock full of good info, but I’m getting it for even less than Amazon’s asking. I love this thing.
Plus, now I can play Pac-man while I wait the requisite 2 hours for my wife the teacher to finish browsing. ;)
