Donotcall.gov launched
In case you haven’t heard the news, President Bush launched the national “do-not-call” list today. The web site is being hammered right now, but I highly suggest you try and register as soon as possible — the FTC doesn’t start enforcing the list until Oct. 1st, though. It’s about time there was a centralized way to tell telemarketers we aren’t interested.

don’t worry, ernie, the GOP can still get through to you.. they’re exempt.

I noticed — unfortunately, they had to open it up to any political party, so those worthless democrats got by, too. ;)

in that case, the republicans MUST do something….
they’ll probably draft a law banning the use of phones (in secret of course) under the guise of national security. then they’ll arrest the democrats for trying to call neo. then they’ll subcontract out to some member of the cabinet’s former company, specializing in tin cans and twine. it would then become a law that clear channel had to overtake these lines of communication, and spew nothing but gop propaganda.. this spewing to be done by none other than retired military generals.
but that’s just a guess of things to come…

June 30, 2003, 3:17 pmYou say you vote the candidate not the party. However your comments seem a bit “democratically biased”. Why is that?
fu:
imagine it was a national register to RECEIVE calls? we’d be screwed! hahaha!
