The joy of engrish

OK, ever since the whole “all your base” thing hit a few years back, I’ve gotten entirely too much enjoyment out of all things engrish. To be honest, I think it just struck a chord with me since I’ve always been an avid gamer and I’ve been exposed to horrible mistranslations all my life.

A blog worth reading

In other words, nothing on this page. I just found Dave Barry’s blog. Apparently he’s been at this since last month, at least. As a fan of his writing, I suggest you bookmark it now. I’m serious. OK, you, drinking the bottle of Coke! Put it down, and bookmark the site. Your fizz will not dissipate in the time it takes to do so. In particular, though I loved LOTR II, I enjoyed this column he linked from his blog.

A late-night mind dump

For some reason, I always have a mind full of thoughts right when I wake up and right before I go to sleep. I swear, if I was at work for the 2 hours after I wake up and the 2 before I go to sleep, I would put people working 8 hour days to shame… silly office hour conventions.
